Coulson was appointed as Principal Contractor for Anglia Ruskin University’s 2025 summer works through their approved framework. The project covered refurbishment across three properties on the Cambridge campus, including Peter Taylor House and Collier Road, all delivered within the tight summer holiday programme.

The scope included the refurbishment of 23 bedrooms, two kitchens, and corridors, with upgrades to ensuites, bedrooms, and a full M&E fit-out. New furniture was manufactured, delivered, and installed by Coulson Joinery, ensuring a bespoke finish tailored to the university’s requirements.

Despite the challenging timeframe, the project was completed to an exceptionally high standard, on time and within budget. Coulson’s proactive planning, in-house joinery expertise, and robust project management ensured a seamless delivery, earning positive feedback from Anglia Ruskin University for quality and efficiency.
