Managing Director Paul Glover joined the Group back in 1987 and has been a director for more than 22 years.
Paul is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant with the ability to decipher complex financial and systems related issues to support the Group’s continued success.
Having begun his career with the Coulson Group as an apprentice plumber more than 20 years ago David now oversees the Group's Services Department encompassing Mechanical, Electrical, and Facilities maintenance works. David's unambiguous leadership skills and extensive knowledge have helped the department maintain a reputation for excellence.
After returning to the Coulson Group after a years internship while studying for his degree in construction management Stuart has steadily progressed and developed through our construction team. Stuart now plays an active role in our projects ensuring all team members are working together in unison in turn helping to deliver projects on time and on budget.
With 40 Years of experience working within the construction sector, Philip currently develops and implements the Group's approach to quality, environment, and health and safety. Working with external advisors and auditors has helped the group maintain an excellent record for both and demonstrates our unwavering commitment to working safely whilst delivering quality projects.
William works with our clients on smaller projects helping develop their requirements to fit their budget. Often approached by clients who know what they want but not sure on the process to achieve their goals, William is able to advise and guide as needed and to produce clearly defined quotations for the clients consideration.
Brandon joined the group as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, he has since completed an NVQ diploma in construction and contracting operations and is currently working towards a BSc (Hons) degree in quantity surveying. He is active as a lead surveyor on many of the Company's projects communicating cost information accurately and efficiently.
Originally an undergraduate placement student, Marcus re-joined the Group in 2014. Several years as a Site Manager working on a number of multi-million-pound projects has given Marcus a deep insight into the construction process, he now uses that knowledge and his analytical thinking skills to oversee the initial design process for the Group.
Simon's career with the Coulson Group stretches some 35 years. Now, as Senior Manager, Simon takes responsibility for our building department whilst supporting our Construction Department on larger projects, his wealth of knowledge and attention to detail is well respected.
As workshop Manager, Mark ensures the company's fleet is in tip-top condition, from Company cars and vans to telehandlers and dumpers, Mark ensures all are safe, legally compliant, and fit for purpose. In addition to this, he can offer our garage services to local private clients allowing them to benefit from a well-equipped workshop with skilled mechanics.
Mathew was employed by Coulson as a carpenter in 1990, he has since followed a path of continuous progression in to project management. His communication abilities instil confidence in clients and ensures that key information is shared throughout the project delivery team.
Having completed his degree including a year's placement with Coulson, Mathew joined the pre-construction team as an estimator in 2012. He has since progressed and now, as Associate Director of pre-construction is responsible for the production of PQQs and tenders for a wide range of clients across a broad spectrum of sectors.
Although Graham semi-retired at the beginning of 2022 the Group continues to benefit from his can-do attitude and his extensive knowledge of the construction industry. Having been Managing Director of the group for the previous ten years, Graham drove the Group's expansion and was pivotal in securing key contracts and maintaining its profitability through some very challenging times.
With well over 30 years of experience with the Group, Philip is a well accomplished and highly respected member of the construction team. Responsible for the preparation of tenders from ~£500k to £8m +, Philip's calm manner and level-headedness helps manage the bid process and bid team effectively.
Employed as a site Manager in 2006, Lance very quickly demonstrated his knowledge of all facets of the construction process excellent communications skills at all levels making him an excellent candidate for his current role as Contracts Manager, typically managing our larger projects working with key stakeholders and delivering excellence time after time.
