There are four routes when it comes to our procurement process at Coulson Building Group. These consist of partnership, competitive tender, negotiation, and design and build. The processes are in place to make our client’s experience much easier and clear.

Framework and Partnering

Our approach to partnership is fair and equitable as we know this is vital to the success of Coulson Building Group. We have carried out over 150 partnering projects and have delivered these through a collaborative working style. We have been involved in all types of partnering including JCT and NEC on an Open Book, Pain/Gain or Fixed Price basis.

Design & Build

Coulson Building Group’s design and build service provides clients with many more benefits that other procurement processes don’t offer. As an example, our client will always have a single point of responsibility provided by us from start to finish of the project. This means that there is no confusion on who to speak to during certain stages of the project. Instead, it will make it easier for our clients to communicate with us. Negotiation

We gain a valuable relationship with all of our clients and from there, proceed with a negotiated contract. This makes our clients aware that it can reduce the cost as well as the duration of the tendering process. Coulson Building Group doesn’t just focus on getting the most competitive or cheapest price. Instead, we bring a contractor in early who will agree to assist with the client’s budget as well as manage cost control.
