Having joined the groups administration department in 2005 Sally now plays a vital roll with input throughout the business. Her skillset and expertise ensure our payment processes run smoothly and any issues are dealt with promptly.

Receptionist

Often the first person our clients interact with, Katherine has been a key member of our team since 2006. Her friendly manner and company knowledge ensures calls are dealt with pleasantly and efficiently.

Contracts Manager

Iain has been with the Group for over 20 years and has successfully completed many significant projects. He is a skilled communicator and has the ability to keep projects on track through even the toughest of challenges.

Jake Clark

Estimator

Jake joined the group early 2023 as an estimator where he plays a pivotal part of the building and projects division producing quotes and tenders for projects up to £1M in both the domestic and commercial sectors.

Electrical Manager

As an award-winning Apprentice Electrician employed by Coulson in 2003, Karl has grown with the Group and developed his skills during his time here, now with more than 20 years of experience, he manages the Group's in-house electrical department.

Emma Edgley

Payroll Administrator

Having started with us in 1984 Emma is one of the Group's longest serving employees, this gives Emma a unique understanding of the Group's 'inner workings' that she continues to use to help develop and implement new processes ensuring all things payroll run smoothly.

Emily Ellis

Maintenance Administrator

Emily has recently joined the services department in the Maintenance Administrator role where she is the first point of contact for all clients wishing to utilise Coulson’s electrical, plumbing or facilities management resources.

Natalie Firmin

HR Manager

Training and development of our employees has always been a key objective of the Coulson Group. Natalie ensures that in addition to all legal obligations for training being met she identifies additional opportunities for employee development helping them reach their full potential.

Mark Gibbs

Contracts Manager

An experienced Contracts Manager in all sectors, Mark joined the group in 2024 and will be actively overseeing and supervising the project team to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and with client expectations.

Contracts Manager

An experienced Contracts Manager, David joined us in 2021, he has quickly proven that he has the willingness and the ability to drive a project through to successful completion.

Paul Glover

Managing Director

Managing Director Paul Glover joined the Group back in 1987 and has been a director for more than 22 years.

Paul is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant with the ability to decipher complex financial and systems and related issues to support the Group’s continued success.

David Grundy

Having begun his career with Coulson Building Group as an apprentice plumber more than 20 years ago David now oversees, as Director, the Group's Services Department encompassing Mechanical, Electrical, and Facilities Management works. David's unambiguous leadership skills and extensive knowledge have helped the department maintain a reputation for excellence.

Kevin Holt

Quantity Surveyor

As a lead surveyor in our Construction Division, Kevin actively works with suppliers and subcontractors helping to keep risk to a minimum and costs within budget ensuring we deliver value for money projects to our clients.

Stuart Humphrey

Director

Having started with Coulson Group straight from school, Stuart completed his apprenticeship and obtained a Construction Management degree. Stuart has then steadily progressed and developed through the construction division to become Director. Stuart now plays a high level role in our live projects, ensuring all team members are working together in unison in turn helping to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Brandon Joubert

Commercial Manager

Brandon joined the group as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, he has since completed an NVQ diploma in construction and contracting operations and a degree in quantity surveying. Brandon is now commercial manager overlooking the quantity surveyors and communicating cost information accurately and efficiently back to the senior management team.

Site Manager

In his 25 plus years with Coulson Ian has achieved a great deal, not least of which was being awarded 'Site Manager of the Year' by CFCI Design and Construction Awards.

Marcus Lill

Design Manager

Originally an undergraduate placement student, Marcus re-joined the Group in 2014. Several years as a Site Manager working on a number of multi-million-pound projects has given Marcus a deep insight into the construction process. He now uses that technical knowledge and his analytical thinking skills to oversee the design process for the Group.

Thomas Mytton-Mills

Joinery Draughtsman

Working in our specialist Joinery department Thomas is able to use his extensive C.A.D skills to turn a client's dream in to working drawings in turn allowing our master craftsmen to produce high quality, bespoke Joinery.

Jonathan Nix

Joinery Manager

Jonathan manages our in-house specialist Joinery workshop, one of the most well equipped in East Anglia. Ensuring everything runs smoothly he helps the team consistently produce high-class, high-quality products.

Simon Pauley

Senior Manager

Simon's career with the Coulson Group stretches over 35 years. As Senior Manager, Simon takes overall responsibility for our Building and Projects Division whilst supporting our Construction Division on larger projects, his wealth of knowledge and attention to detail is well respected.

Mark Rolph

Workshop Manager

As workshop Manager, Mark ensures the company's fleet is in tip-top condition, from Company cars and vans to telehandlers and dumpers, Mark ensures all are safe, legally compliant, and fit for purpose. In addition to this, he can offer our garage services to local private clients allowing them to benefit from a well-equipped workshop with skilled mechanics.

Matthew Sizer

Senior Manager

Mathew was employed by Coulson as a carpenter in 1990, he has since followed a path of continuous progression in to project management. Embedded within the Building and Projects Division his communication abilities instil confidence in clients and ensures that key information is shared throughout the project delivery team.

Mark joined us in 2021, he brings with him a great deal of commercial expertise and cost control experience. He supports the construction team with clear accurate communication regarding costs and supplier information.

Matthew Vincent

Director

Having had an Undergraduate year at Coulson’s, Mathew re-joined the pre-construction team in 2012. He gained valuable experience as an Estimator for 8 years and ultimately is now a Director of the company. He heads up the pre-construction department and has overall responsibility for the production of PQQs, ITTs, Framework Bids and all tenders.

Philip Webb

Senior Estimator

With well over 30 years of experience with the Group, Philip is a well accomplished and highly respected Senior Estimator of the construction division. Responsible for the pricing of tenders from £500k to £15m , Philip's knowledge of costs, technical awareness and ability to produce a detailed tender submission is second to none.

Lance Weinman

Contracts Manager

Employed as a Site Manager in 2006, Lance very quickly demonstrated his knowledge of all facets of the construction process; Excellent communications skills at all levels making him a perfect candidate for his current role as Contracts Manager. , typically managing our larger projects in all sectors and working with key project stakeholders to deliver excellence time after time.

Nigel Wick

Project Coordinator

Nigel joined the group 44 years ago as an apprentice carpenter and has since worked up to become project coordinator within the Building and Projects Division. Typically working on the smaller projects for both commercial and domestic clients, Nigel manages our labour onsite and coordinates the works with the client to ensure a high quality finish.

Adam Wicks

Estimator

Adam joined the group recently and brings a wealth of experience into the estimating department. Typically, Adam will be responsible for tenders within the Construction Division up to the value of £15m. His attention to detail and knowledge will ensure that we will be producing detailed and competitive quotes in all sectors.
