This project consisted of a major refurbishment and fit out of an existing hospital mental health ward into a SARC unit that is to be run by the Cambridgeshire police.
The project included the isolation and making safe of mechanical, plumbing and electrical Services ensuring that this will not effect the adjacent live hospital. The main works included the demolition of structural internal walls to facilitate the new plan including new steelwork to create a large open plan office space, stripping back making good and preparing all surfaces, Installation of new door sets and ironmongery and hygienic cladding to the walls to ensure the room can be cleaned to a clinical standard.
The Design and installation of all new services covering heating, hot and cold-water systems, ventilation, plumbing, lighting, fire alarm, security, power and data.
To finish off the project we second fixed rooms, Re-commissioned of all building the services, New external steps and ramps to entrance ways and Sparkle clean of surfaces ready for immediate occupation.
We worked closely with the Police and Hospital staff to ensure that our works or deliveries did not effect their day to day activities.
