Completion of this project provided new offices and associated facilities for the client’s project management team, enabling them to deliver the £1 billion investment - North West Cambridge.
The works included the complete refurbishment of the farm house and a range of out buildings. A new modular office complex and a community centre were provided. The modular building was surrounded with a larch brise soleil structure and viewing balcony overlooking the whole development. Adaptation of the existing farm buildings allowed far an Artists’ studio, new paved and gravel car parks, external lighting, timber fencing and landscaping.
A ‘Mock Up’ apartment completed the project allowing the client team to visualise their plans for the University’s key worker accommodation which will form part of the largest development under taken in the University’s 800 year history.
