The remodelling and refurbishment of a 3 storey sheltered residential building of 49 flats to form 23 new flats, together with the formation of new assisted bathrooms.
The refurbishment also included all common areas, new windows, roof-
lights and the renewal of the mechanical and electrical services. The scheme was procured by traditional tender won in open competition.
Early stage contractor appointment added considerable benefits to the scheme, allowing design input, cost savings and efficiencies.
The project was handed over on time and within budget.
